We are most of the way through January and some of our resolutions are fading so to keep you healthy and reach your 2012 Health Goals I wanted to share with everyone what I shared at Whole Foods! Why feel OK, when you can feel AMAZING?
I’m obviously in love with Kale .
Kale Spa Smoothie
1 scoop hemp protein powder
1 cup almond mylk (or other non-dairy milk)
2 tbsp fresh ground flax seeds (or whole chia seeds)
½ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 tsp+ spirulina, or broken cell wall chlorella
to taste cinnamon for extra flavour, to kill excess yeast & balance blood sugar
½ cup kale
Toss all ingredients into a blender and then enjoy!
Kale Basil Dip
Seriously, please try this . Dip your vegetables in vegetables, enjoy the delicious taste of garlic & herbs to keep your gut happy and healthy omega fatty acids from hemp hearts.
½ bunch kale
½ cup hemp seeds
1 tbsp dry basil (or 3 tbsp fresh) – fresh is BEST
1 tsp dry oregano (or 1 tbsp fresh)
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1-2 cloves garlic
½ tsp sea salt
Place all ingredients in a food processor and mix well.
