Sometimes you’ve just got to step outside and scream “YEAH LIFE” at the top of your lungs. Why?…well WHY NOT? Do it. Don’t sit there and believe me that it feels good, try it for yourself.

Ok, so now that you are high on life, you can read on.
Starting something TODAY is so much better than starting something TOMORROW. Whether it is something you want to do, or something you don’t necessarily want to do, but need to do, start today. Whether it is switching from a chocolate bar to a healthier snack, organizing the kitchen, going for a run, or having a conversation you’ve been putting off, TODAY is a good day to start. If you start today you’ll have gratification today, a weight will be lifted off your shoulders and perhaps you’ll even sleep better.
Today (after putting it off for a few days) I commuted to work on my bike!
My bike was ready to go on Sunday, but I kept putting off getting on it a riding to work. “I need to do a practice run”, “what if I get really sweaty, I can’t carry everything I need to go to the shower at my gym near work”, blah blah blah. Really…it was just all the unknown stuff that kept holding me back. At some point you just have to plan it and DO IT. So this morning, even though it was raining lightly, I biked to work, because tomorrow isn’t soon enough. And what better way to learn the unknown than to get out there and give it a shot? What could possibly go wrong? There were some minor interesting moments when pedestrians decided to cross at a red light and I had to slam the breaks, a moment when I couldn’t figure out where the bike path was redirected, and a few other things that I can’t remember anymore. Overall, I feel awesome because I finally got out there and did it. I know what to expect now and each time will be easier. It felt SO good! …YEAH LIFE.
hahaha – that’s my “biking” pose.
What are you putting off? Start TODAY and feel amazing sooner

You are amazing- I loved that you just did it and enjoyed every second of it! A great reminder that we can get so caught up in our heads and miss out on present life. Thanks for sharing!!

You’re amazing Kat!!!! I haven’t really biked on the street in a really, really long time and I can honestly tell you, it scares me!!!!

Thanks Kris! It’s absolutely wonderful and being that I work Downtown Vancouver there are bike lanes EVERYWHERE. I thought I would have to watch for cars, but I usually just have to watch for pedestrians crossing when they shouldn’t!
