gluten-free granola bars

Hi Friends! What are your weekend adventure plans? …and favourite snacks to bring on such adventures?

I’ve got a new favourite bar, which was adapted from a recipe featured on i heart wellness blog. Amazing recipes over there!

This photo was taken using the hipstamatic camera app on my iPhone.

I doubled the batch and made some nutrition boosting additions!

I’m bringing them with me for a hike on Saturday and Kayak Race on Sunday.

gluten-free granola bars – choose your own adventure!

2 cups Gluten-free Quick Oats

2 tsp Cinnamon

1/4 tsp Sea Salt

6 Medjool Dates {chopped}

2 ripe Banana {mashed}

3 Tbsp unsweetened coconut

3 Tbsp cacao nibs

Preheat oven to 325.

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl and spread on a cookie sheet. Bake for 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown. Wait until they have cooled to pack them away!
